A one on one sessions are private, inclusive, respectful and strictly confidential.

What happens during an Art Therapy session?

During a session, the Art therapist works individually with you to guide you to understand and address your challenges and identifying the possible cause. Through the use of a variety of art mediums such as collage, drawing, painting, clay work, visual journaling, writing, sculpture or other forms of creative arts you are able to express thoughts, emotions, or feelings. This is then followed-up with discussions on the outcomes and emotional links related to the artwork.

Please note there is no focus on your technical artistic ability or finished piece. It is about the processes and connecting with your emotions and feelings through the creative arts experience.

You gently unfold this discovery in your own time and your own way with the full support of the art therapist.
