Venue
Baxter- Mornington Peninsula
Two Cow Dairy on Baxter-Tooradin Rd in Baxter, is situated on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula in Victoria .
It is a small farm, with adequate parking, toilet facilities, Coonara wood heater, comfy couches, their very own coffee van, a beautiful, peaceful lake to sit and reflect by, plus the varied and wonderfully quirky spaces to work creatively within.
Accommodation
With so many things to see and do on the Mornington Peninsula you might like to make a weekend of things.
Please visit https://www.visitmorningtonpeninsula.org/ for details on what to see and do, and where you can stay in the region. It is a stunningly beautiful part of Victoria, with many other interesting surrounding places to visit.
Meals
There is a coffee van on site providing snacks, tea, coffee and toasties and the venue is close to a local shopping strip which includes a supermarket and takeaway outlets.
Please bring your own water bottle to rehydrate throughout the day (80% of the brain is made up of water so we need to rehydrate the brain as well as the body.)
Wellbeing during the sessions
The discovery and healing of self through art therapy can be very enjoyable, empowering and a positive journey of reflection through using the various forms of art mediums. But at times emotions can arise which may be a little confronting or take you by surprise. There are always trained facilitators to support you and there is a separate quiet room at the venue as a place to reflect if needs be. There are also beautiful walks next to the venue that you may wish to do to give yourself some quiet reflection time.
Each session provides a safe, respectful, inclusive, supportive place to explore aspects of self.
